We've been nominated for an Emmy for building the central characters (pictured left with guest star Elijah Wood) in the Nickelodeon kids show YO GABBA GABBA. We made two sets of the five "leads," along with special wardrobe, props, and puppets. The show has already become a hit with critics, parents, and, of course, kids. Watch a preview HERE.
"Bryantman" is a superhero character developed by Marc USA of Pittsburgh for Bryant Heating and Cooling. When the need arose for a fleet of mascot versions for their distributors, we were contracted to make them at a reasonable price while maintaining quality.
Above, seven of eight food costumes made for spots promoting the Four Winds Casino. These highly-detailed pieces were fabicated in only a few weeks before being shipped to Canada for final fittings and shooting.
"The Metal" was designed by us to embody the song by Jack Black's band Tenacious D. This costume appeared on NBC Saturday Night Live and the Spike TV Video Game Awards as well as touring with the group.
For Rogue Pictures' THE STRANGERS, a horror film scheduled for release in 2008, we created several Halloween masks worn by the mysterious attackers. In this scene, "Dollface" menaces star Liv Tyler. We had to vacuum-form and hand-paint over a half dozen of each mask for the production. View the trailer HERE, if you dare.
A pair of "Blood Elves" from Blizzard Entertainment's phenomenally successful game World of Warcraft. The characters, which appeared at BlizzCon 2007, wore prosthetic ears and custom-fabricated armor.
Midnight Productions liked the giant animatronic crocodile we had made for BLOOD SURF, so they commissioned us to build one for their 13th Gate haunted attraction in Baton Rouge. They also had us create an even larger dragon for their final scare.
To promote the documentary "Flock of Dodos: The Evolution-Intelligent Design Circus," we adapted the film's animated characters into a trio of walkaround costumes.
